Large independent Ag retail is seeking a General Manager for Western Kentucky. This position will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the location. This will include purchasing, sales, operations, personnel, and profitability. This company is an industry leader in agronomy technology, proprietary products, and seed sales. 

This position will:

• Sell fertilizer, crop protection products, and seed
• Provide service that will optimize the company's market share and savings
• Achieve the Company's mission and goals which will result in outstanding customer service
• Work with Ownership to establish yearly sales goals
• Maintain delivery schedules and sales to customers, providing exceptional customer service
• Make proper recommendations and applications of products sold
• Assist in developing competitive marketing strategies
• Provide the service necessary to meet goals and objectives. This includes responding to customer calls promptly, encouraging repeat sales by enhancing the profitability of customers, and maintaining proficiency in retail sales and knowledge of appropriate programs

Qualifications:

• Two or four year degree in Agribusiness, or related program or equivalent previous experience
• Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer knowledge
