Our Client, a manufacturer of fertilizer handling systems, is in need of a Territory Technical Sales Manager, to cover a territory including Northern IN, Northern IL, and Michigan. Candidate must be flexible as territory lines may be adjusted as the company grows. The company offers a diverse line of fertilizer (liquid and dry) handling equipment as well as other complimentary product lines. The right candidate must have a technical mindset and be able to effectively create and quote systems for customers. This position also serves as a project manager on new installations to make sure all parties are on the same page. A successful candidate will:

  • Use leads to call on prospective and current customers to solicit sales of company products and services.
  • Travel regularly to customer locations to promote products, training, and services in a professional manner.
  • Conduct an initial site survey and perform needs assessment to offer the best solutions.
  • Maintain appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts for the territory.
  • Generate and submit all reports in a timely manner.
  • Follow companies policies and procedures while maintain long term relationships with clients
  • Serve as first line of contact for customer problems and help with finding a solution
  • Attend regional trade-shows to showcase products and keep up to date with new trends
