The successful candidate will lead the sales efforts in further building core business and exploiting new product/market opportunities. Will travel within the geographic sales territory to make customer presentations, familiarize customers with company products and demonstrate company equipment. Requires 5 years of sales / sales management experience, college degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales or sales management experience.
- Demonstrated sales ability: persuasiveness and planning/organizing skills demonstrated record of success in selling agricultural products to/with a distributor and dealer network, as well as selling to direct accounts.
- Demonstrated competence with business fundamentals such as pricing, margin, cost structures, ethical business practices, etc.
- Highly proficient written and oral communication skills including presentation and closing abilities.
- A BA or BS degree is strongly preferred.
- Approximately 75 travel required.
- Computer system capabilities utilizing Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and internal EMS business management systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and technical capability to be able to work with all levels of distribution channels along with the ability to investigate and mediate technical issues.

Key responsibilities include coaching and supporting with existing designers on projects, keeping up-to-date on changing customer needs, ensuring that cost targets are achieved, and maintaining/improving the culture of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in an engineering discipline, along with 5 to 7 years in a design engineering and/or project management role within the ag equipment market. Farm background is preferred.
