A leading pork integrator is looking for a Sow Farm Manager to help with operations in Western Indiana. This position will be responsible for supervising a sow farm and personnel in all aspects to achieve goals outlined by the company. Candidate will receive excellent benefits along with bonus potential. Relocation assistance available. Bilingual is a plus.

A successful candidate will:
  • Provide leadership and coaching to all employees that report to the farm.
  • Schedule and plan weekly activities for personnel.
  • Assure production tasks, company policies and regulations are adhered to as outlined in training/procedure manuals.
  • Maintain high herd health and bio-security personally and through employees.
  • Oversee treatment of sick or injured animals and follow withdrawal protocols.
  • Maintain proper farm appearance and function.
  • Complete weekly production report.
  • Monitor and maintain lagoon levels within acceptable guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition and notify of problems.
