As an independent contractor, these individuals will be responsible for managing and interacting with dealers and prospective customers, helping them understand the company's products, policies, and programs while representing the company with professionalism on a daily basis. Job Description
  • Build a dealer network of influential individuals in the area
  • Aggressive marketing and sales of the company's corn, soybean, alfalfa, and other products
  • Establish and build effective customer relationships
  • Work with customers to enhance the profitability of their business through sales and use of our products
  • Ability to lead grower meetings and connect with customers
  • Provide communication between the customer and business management team
  • Work closely with team members to solve complex customer issues
  • Provide critical input to the business management team
  • Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Computer skills required to manage accounts- candidates will be required to use software/intranet to generate reports, inventory data, access company information and complete administrative duties
  • Participation and attendance is expected at national, regional and local team meetings with the possibility of overnight travel
  • Strong agronomic background required, CCA certified preferred

On-Farm Irrigation Service Technician #2506 (Central - Wisconsin)

We have a unique opportunity with a very large vegetable producer in central Wisconsin. Our client is looking for individuals who have extensive experience with center pivot irrigation systems.  Either from a farm or somebody from a dealership who is frustrated in dealing with customers and would rather have the on farm environment.  The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the operation, management, upkeep and repair of central pivot irrigation systems.  Prefer formal education or extensive in-field experience in pivot technical service and repair. You will be part of a team responsible for upkeep and improvements on numerous central pivot systems.  Will assist in keeping all pivots in operation, on schedule and in good working order during the growing season. Person will be working closely with the Farm Manager to ensure machines are in optimal running condition and provide recommendations on irrigation upgrades. Should be self-motivated, task oriented, willing to learn and a team player.

Job Requirements:
  • Recent experience working with irrigation systems is a must
  • Prefer 3 to 5 years experience diagnosing and repairing center pivot irrigation systems.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Must be able to make decisions on whether an irrigation system can continue to operate or should be repaired or replaced, based on best overall value and safety. 
  • Must have clean driving record
